What I'll probably end up with once it domesticates me.
For a phone interview for a job I am in no way qualified for. Here’s to hoping I can succefully change my career to a completely different industry.

What’s the job entail? How does it differ from your current job and how do you feel you’re not qualified for this job?

I hope there is enough luck for the both of us. I have an interview at the end of the month for a job with the state that would represent, at minimum, a $14k a year increase. With that kind of cash I could pay a professional to do the body work on my project car.

Well my last interview for a job somewhat like this was a bust. Hopefully this time is better.

Mine would be a minimum of $11k before possible commission. I could afford a respectable car then haha

It's a sales position in insurance. Currently I work in automotive driveline assembly. I guess I feel like I'm not qualified because I don't have a business degree even though they don't require it.

I could get behind that.

So what you’re saying is that you worked with a large team to meet specific project goals? Gotcha.
My advice is to take the job description and start researching specific things about the role so you can at least speak about them and ask intelligent questions. It will show you’re willing to learn and can learn quickly things about the job.

I've been trying to build skills like that. It would definitely help with my resume.
